Four images for $40
40 over 40 is an Open Call. All subject matter from street photography, portrait, nudes, landscapes, nature, wildlife, urban, architecture, and/or documentary photography.
South x Southeast Gallery is pleased to invite photographers of all backgrounds and experience levels – over the age of 40 – to enter.
Elizabeth Avedon
Elizabeth Avedon is an independent curator and photo consultant. Former Director of Photo-Eye Gallery, Santa Fe; Art Director for Ralph Lauren; Elizabeth has received recognition for her exhibition design and publishing projects, including Richard Avedon’s “In the American West” for the Amon Carter Museum, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, and Art Institute of Chicago; and exhibitions for the Leica Gallery, New York; the Menil Collection, Houston, Texas; and for the Estate of Diane Arbus, among others. Elizabeth has been a juror for the prestigious Leica Women Foto Project Awards 2019-2022 and continues as an instructor in the Masters MPS Digital Photography program at the School of Visual Arts NY. In 2017, she received the “Lifetime Achievement Award” from the Griffin Museum of Photography.
