Succulents in Window ©Nancy McCrary
At a time when the world around us has been stilled and our lives put on hold, it just seems right to do an exhibition of still life.
Maybe to remind us that slowing down isn’t always a bad thing, and that moments held in time can be provocative, or just beautiful. Whether intentionally created, or a natural arrangement that catches your eye, the still life can be a means of expression, an extension of yourself.
I want to see those collections, those arrangements, those captured moments. And I want you to tell me about the photograph, its story, and if it has special meaning to you.
This exhibition will run September 15 – October 31, 2020 at South x Southeast Gallery in Molena, Georgia. Both SlowExposures Photo Festival and Atlanta Celebrates Photography will be held during this time period. So please schedule a visit to South x Southeast Gallery to view this exhibition – and make it a visit to the others as well.
Until then, we welcome you on an appointment only basis. And we ask that you mask-up and stay apart.
We have missed seeing all of you so much!
